It’s not about regrets,

It’s not about what I didn’t say,

It’s not about past times,

Because she taught me to not give up and always look onward towards the future.

And now it hurts

when its certain

 she will not be there to watch me thrive,

To watch me grow,

To heal my future heartbreaks

And guide me till the end.

I haven’t grown yet and there’s so much I look forward to and she was always in the picture.

But now she’s not here and I don’t know how to deal with the future.

So, it’s not about regret,

It’s not about how I need to remember that she loves me,

Or that I love her

and she would always be in my heart;

Its only a matter of time.

I just want more time.

And I still do.
